DETAIL OF ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrive Ho Chi Minh city – free time to relax.
Arrive Ho Chi Minh our driver welcome you at the airport and transfer you to hotel for check-in. The afternoon is free for you to get familiar with weather and atmosphere in Ho Chi Minh city. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh city – Mekong delta full day (breakfast, lunch)
Breakfast is at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh city. Bus and tour guide to pick you up at around 7.30am and departure for Mekong delta.
Enjoy the scenic journey along the way bordered by green rice fields. ,On arrived at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang pagoda, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view the stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet, have lunch in the orchard garden. Then a boat ride to An Khanh – a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees along natural canals, then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of “Southern Vietnamese folk music”, performed by locals. ,Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste the delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you roam through the fruit plantation and village. Meet the bus and return to HCMC. This trip provides a fascinating insight into daily life in the Mekong Delta and you are guaranteed to take home your own private collection of beautiful memories.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh city tour – Cu Chi tunnel. Flight to Hanoi (breakfast, lunch)
In the morning after breakfast, you will departure for the city tour. You will visit, Independence Palace known at the Reunification palace, was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace. The Independence palace is a widely known landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu. It was the sight of the end of the Vietnam/American war in 1975, as a North Vietnamese army tank crashed through the gates. The tank is still located at the Independence Palaces’ property.
Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office. Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum the museum has a vast display of the both the Indochina wars. In courtyard massive military vehicles are for exhibition as well as tiger cages for the visitor to get a feel on how it was to be a prisoner during wartime. In the museum building itself, each floor will represent a separate theme from the war and the war crimes committed towards the Vietnamese people.
Tour guide and bus come to pick you up for Cu Chi tunnel. Arriving at Cu Chi tunnels (Ben Dinh) and proceeding to an underground hut to watch a short video and presentation about Cu Chi tunnels before having a real hand-on experience of what it took to live in the tunnels. Afterward, test tasting the steamed tapioca root which is the main staple food in Cu Chi during the war. For those interested, there is an opportunity to fire off an AK47 or MK16 with real ammunitions at the nearby shooting range. Tour finishes at your hotel at around 17.30pm. Tour finishes at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh city at around 17.pm. Car transfer you to the airport in Ho Chi Minh city to get flight to Hanoi. On arrival, tour guide and his car will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 4: Hanoi – Halong bay cruiseship (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Around 08.00, Our guide Pick you up at your hotel and go to Halong bay on a shuttle bus. Take a rest at Humanity center and enjoy local specialties. Arrival in Halong at 11.45. The captain and crew welcome you aboard. Savor the delicious lunch as boat pass through thousands of Islands and Islets with different shapes.
After lunch, explore the biggest and the most amazing cave in Halong Bay – Surprise Cave. Then Kayaking for an hour around the fishing village and discover the life of community there. Then back to boat for Sunset Party, get to calm, clean water place for swimming. Enjoy delicious and romantic dinner with some barbecue courses.
In the evening, free time for entertainment with the funny plays such as squid fishing, karaoke program, stars watching on sundeck… Spend romantic night on board and overnight on board.
Day 5: Halong bay – Hanoi (breakfast, lunch)
In the morning, breakfast, fruits, coffee and tea are served on board. Cruise further and stop-over at a pearl farm to sea real peace cultivated by local fisherman. After that, we continue cruising further, go throught many islands and islets to discover the hidden charm of the bay.
Join a cooking class opened right on the cruise for all the people are interested in cooking, especially cooking Vietnamese food. Cruise back to the prier while having lunch. Say goodbye to the crew and disembark. Get on bus to go back to Hanoi. Arrival in Hanoi around 04.30pm.
The rest of day is for free to relax. Overnight at the hotel in Hanoi city.
Day 6: Hanoi city tour – flight back to Ho Chi Minh city (breakfast, lunch)
Breakfast is served at the hotel. At 8.00am, guide and bus will come to pick you up for Halong bay tour. Today, you visit Ho Chi Minh complex, including Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh stilt house, lake, One Pillar pagda. It is located in the same area with different formations. By visiting this area, you will have deep knowledge about the most famous hero of Vietnam – Ho Chi Minh and the fascinating history of Vietnam thru 2 great wars with French colonial and American Military. Next is the oldest pagoda in Hanoi city called Tran Quoc pagoda. it is one of the few reputation pagodas in Vietnam that retains valuable virtues of Buddhism. You also visit Temple of Literature (the first national university of Vietnam) became the symbol of education of Vietnamese people.
Lunch is served at the local restaurant.
In the afternoon is for Ethnology museum – a place meets all the characteristics of the 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam from lifestyle, customs, uniform… Afer that you return Hoan Kiem Lake with a mysterious story related.
Tour finishes at around 16.00pm at your hotel. You will return to your hotel, take a short snap and we will continue trip to Old Quarter Hanoi city. The tour guide shows you the most hightlight of Old Quarter Hanoi and try the foods on the way you discover. The last dinner will be served at the local restaurant with Pho Bo rice noodle soup. Return to your hotel and enjoy the last night in Vietnam.
Day 7: Departure (breakfast)
Breakfast is at your hotel. Morning is free for you to relax, do last minutes shopping. Car and driver comes to transfer you to the airport. Tour ends.
