DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrive Seam Reap. Free and Relax
Upon arrival at Siem Reap Airport, we welcome you and transfer you to hotel for check-in. The afternoon is free for you to get familiar with weather and atmosphere in Seam Reap. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: The formation and the Rise of Khmer (Breakfast, Lunch)
In the morning, visit some famous temples in Siem Reap including
– Roulous group with: Preah Ko, Bakon and Lolei. It is composed by three major temples: Bakong, Lolei, and Preah Ko, along with tiny Prasat Prei Monti. At both Bakong and Lolei there are contemporary Theravada buddhist monasteries.
– The Eastern Mebon is a 10th Century temple at Angkor, Cambodia. Built during the reign of King Rajendravarman, it stands on what was an artificial island at the center of the now dry East Baray reservoir.
– Ta Som is a small temple at Angkor, Cambodia, built at the end of the 12th century for King Jayavarman VII. It is located north east of Angkor Thom and just east of Neak Pean.
Neak Pean at Angkor, Cambodia is an artificial island with a Buddhist temple on a circular island in Preah Khan Baray built during the reign of King Jayavarman VII. It is the “Mebon” of the Preah Khan baray.
Preah Khan is a temple at Angkor, built by the King Jayavarman VII. Preah Khan is, like Ta Prohm, a place of towered enclosures and shoulder hugging corridors. However, the temple of Preah Khan is in a reasonable state of preservation and ongoing restoration efforts should maintain and even improve this situation.
Day 3: The start of Angkor: Kulen National Park – Banteay Srei – Beng Mealea (Breakfast, Lunch)
Meet with our guide to brief of the tour. Then transfer 1 hour to the foot of Kulen Mountain where we start hiking up the hill. The first 500 meters are uphill with some rock. There are also various Hindu mythological motifs, including depictions of the gods Shiva, Vishnu, Brahma, Lakshmi, Rama, and Hanuman, as well as animals (cows and frogs)
Following your journey, we drive to the “gem” of the Angkor area called Banteay Srei temple. It was built almost by sandstone. It is a small model of Angkor Wat becomes to famous for all. You will be transferred to the quiet Beng Mealea. This is the burial place of King Suryavarman – who developed Khmer Empire to the Golden Time as well as built the one of the World Wonder called Angkor Wat. Beng Mealea was was forgotten until 1954 and found by French people. Enjoy a short walk through the dense jungle and discover the wonders of an overgrown temple, Beng Mealea, which lay undiscovered for centuries.

Day 4: The best of Khmer: Angkor Wat – Angkor Thom – Ta Prohm (Breakfast, Lunch)
In the morning, visit to the antique capital of Angkor Thom – The city of Temples located in present day Cambodia, was the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer empire built by Suryavarman II Emperor. Angkor Thom was built in the Golden Age of Khmer and became the symbol of Khmer Empire in early of 12th century. While the European people are discovering the ground, the Khmer People discovers astronomy. Angkor Thom is a great work, the result of outstanding achievements in architecture, the size, the feats of calculation and Khmer. The most highlight is Bayon temple – the most beautiful temple in Angkor Wat – well-known as the worships of Vinshu who was a Patron God of Suryavaman II. It is not like another Hindu temples, this is the temple of Buddhism. He is the first Buddhist Emperor in Cambodia. Ta Phrohm expresses the accuracy and the wonder of art. To build it, they used 50,000 taels of gold, 50,000 taels of silver and a big amount of GEM. Stretching along the history, it has been forgotten and occupied by the plant.
